This cozy yet lively restaurant invites diners into an immersive dining experience where fragrant spices and fresh ingredients combine to create dishes that sing with bold, nuanced flavors.
At Hunan, the menu reads like a passionate tribute to genuine Chinese flavors. Its aroma alone promises a feast for the senses, with a wonderful balance of smoky char and piquant chili that lingers deliciously on the palate. Equally tantalizing are the Hot and Sour Soup, which perfectly balances tangy heat with soothing warmth, and the Duck in Szechuan Sauce, a rich, aromatic dish brimming with layers of spicy complexity.
The dining experience here goes beyond just flavor. Whether you choose to indulge in their thoughtfully curated Chinese Buffet — a £25 all-you-can-eat delight cooked fresh to order — or opt for the Hot Pot Buffet featuring over 40 choices of vegetables, seafood, and meat paired with 5 distinct soup bases, Hunan promises generosity and freshness on every plate. The sit-down buffet style enhances the relaxed, communal atmosphere, perfect for gathering with friends or celebrating special occasions.

Very delicious all you can eat buffet! Quick to serve and food was nice. I loved the dessert and ice creams too!
Best Chinese restaurant indeed! Birthdays dinner treat! Loved every dish, will spend every birthday here
Amazing food and service, sit down buffet where they bring plates to you. Great portions, really fresh- ignore bad reviews, £60 for 2 of us including JD and a pint, we’re absolutely rammed. 10/10 experience
Absolutely loved the food there, and it’s not my first time there, I’ve been there a few times already, it’s one of the things closest to my hometown, it taste like home, and I will keep going there. I would definitely recommend it, especially for those who are looking for authentic Chinese food, make sure you order from Chinese menu (it’s also translated into English, don’t worry).
Me and my group of 12 came here for a meal to celebrate a friend birthday and the service was nothing short of excellent!! . The manager and Xiayou delivered an extraordinary service, catering to our every need and the food spoke for itself! I would come here a million times over if I lived in Leeds p.s. the vegan options were great too! Just have to ask for mock chicken personally when making ur order
We visited this Chinese place recently and the first thing we noticed was the massive menu, so many options to choose from! though vegetarian choices were quite limited. The waiter was helpful while we decided what to order, but still ended up getting one of the items wrong, so do cross-check once the order is placed. Luckily, it wasn’t a big deal for us, and we decided to just go with it. We ordered Schezwan chicken, duck roast, chicken chowmein, and fried rice. Everything came out quickly, tasted fresh, and was cooked really well. The fried rice was really good and flavourful. Just a tip: they add eggs in the veg fried rice by default, so make sure to mention it if you’re vegetarian. Overall, a good experience with tasty food.
